The Event
A 6.7k walk or 10k run. this years Byron Lighthouse Run in aid of charity will be on 15 September. The run/walk starts at 7am at Denning Park next to the surf club in Byron Bay.
The Charities
This year we will support Our House (a regional accommodation for cancer patients, children and their
families who are receiving care at Lismore Base Hospital) and we will also support Langtang Valley Health (Australia), an initiative to bring a health clinic to a remote part of Nepal.

The History of the Byron Lighthouse Run
Now in its 7th year.. the Byron Lighthouse Run has grown each year from its humble beginnings. The emphasis is on partricipation even though we get some very fast runners entering each year. Many of our lovely participants have been with us for 7 years and we hope they return this year. The business community of Byron Bay has also got behind the event and without their support the run would not be the success that it is today. Organisers take no administration costs. All proceeds go to charity.
